Interruption of the @ iPower services by technical failure at Interoute:

Oct. 23th 2015 - interruption of iPower plc services between 10:30 and 16:30
On Friday, October 23th 2015, there was a breakdown in the virtual datacenter of Interoute. Therefore the services of iPower plc were partially unavailable between 10:30 and 16:30, in particular e-mail services, virtual dedicated servers, sql databases and shared hosting services. The non-virtual dedicated servers, which @iPoer manages itself, were not affected.
Interoute is looking for the cause and taking the necessary steps to prevent recurrence
It is currently not clear what was the cause of this failure and how it was even possible for an international award-winning virtual platform such as Interoute that this could happen. The report by Interoute itself will hopefully clear things up and will lead to measures that will ensure this kind of interruptions not to happen again in the future.
